At 2,300 metres, Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe and the last in the Belleville valley. The road from Moûtiers climbs continuously for thirty-seven kilometres.

It is the most demanding drive in Les 3 Vallées in winter conditions. Our chauffeurs travel fully equipped and know where chains become compulsory.

Every part
of the resort

Val Thorens centre

The resort is entirely pedestrian: drop-off as close as the traffic plan allows.

Balcons district

The residences above the resort, reached by the upper road.

Plein Sud and Péclet

The sectors closest to the lifts.

Les Menuires

Eleven kilometres below, on the same road.

What you should know

Val Thorens is pedestrian and vehicles cannot reach every building. Give us the exact name of your residence: we know the authorised drop-off points and will save you a walk with your luggage.

From the station
to your chalet

The TGV takes four hours from Paris, and the Eurostar arrives direct from London on Saturdays. What remains are the last few kilometres, in the mountains, with luggage and equipment: that is where we come in.

We track your train's actual time. An SNCF delay costs you nothing: your chauffeur waits on the platform with a name board.

What guests
ask us most

Is the road difficult in winter?

Thirty-seven kilometres of climbing from Moûtiers, often snow-covered. Our vehicles carry winter tyres and chains, and our chauffeurs drive this road all season.

Can we arrive at night?

Yes. The road stays open and cleared, except during exceptional snowfall. If it closes we warn you and propose an alternative.

Val Thorens or Les Menuires?

Les Menuires are eleven kilometres below on the same road and cost slightly less. The ski area is identical.

Should we allow more time?

Allow thirty minutes more than a transfer to Courchevel. A flight landing after 6 pm in January means arriving in the dark.
